The serviced accommodation occupancy survey is run on a monthly basis and forms part of a national scheme called UK Occupancy Survey. The combined occupancy data with other regional tourist boards surveys provides data for England as a whole.
The purpose of the occupancy survey is to estimate the levels of occupancy for tourist accommodation within the region including Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, Guesthouses, Inns and Motels. A regional summary is produced showing occupancy levels by the region, county, district, location, tariff, size and type of establishment.
The monthly occupancy forms may now be completed via a web link. If you would like to find out more about participating on-line, please email marketintelligence@ytb.org.uk.
